Speaker Bios:
Brian Milberg oversees acquisition and development opportunities throughout SG’s Target Markets in addition to working on the firm’s capital market ventures and equity sourcing. He has over 17 years of industrial real estate and private equity investing experience. Since 2004, Milberg has acquired and developed over $2 billion of industrial real estate. Prior to SG, Milberg was Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at KTR Capital Partners, an industrial real estate private equity firm. In 2013, Milberg was named to Real Estate Forum’s prestigious “40 Under 40” which recognizes top young executives in the commercial real estate industry throughout the U.S. Brian received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
Matt Cassin is the founder of JMC Holdings, an entrepreneurial real estate investment firm headquartered in New York City. Cassin focuses on firm-wide strategy, acquisitions, equity and debt relationships and asset level execution. Prior to founding JMC, Matt worked at Tishman Speyer working directly for the firm’s CEO overseeing various strategic initiatives around the globe, with a primary focus on New York City. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Cassin founded and developed two venture capital-backed companies: the first, LiveAdvice, was sold to AT&T in 2007; the second, Coleman Research Group, is a leading independent research firm. With this background, Cassin also leads JMC’s seed investments in the real estate technology space. Matt received his bachelors degree from Georgetown University, where he was the captain of the Division I Men’s Lacrosse Team, and received his MBA from Columbia Business School. Matt lives in Fairfield County CT with his wife and three children.
